Your customer cancels the order or fixes the address within the window you set. In instant mode, the order is cancelled and a refund is requested from your gateway; if it is unavailable or fails, you receive a notice to resolve it manually. If you choose approval mode, you receive a request first.

What the customer does
Three actions from the order page, within the window and the rules you set.
Cancel the order
In instant mode, an eligible order is cancelled and a refund is requested. It is only confirmed as refunded when the gateway confirms success; otherwise, you receive a notice to handle it manually.
Change the shipping address
Address and phone within the same shipping zone and with the same tax rates. If the zone or tax rates change, a request is sent to the store.
Edit the notes
The order note and the personalization fields allowed by the store, according to the mode chosen for this operation.
Free does not include product swaps, quantity changes or paid additional purchases after checkout. This page does not announce an available Pro edition.

Approval mode

- Cancellation is applied when you approve it.
Submitting the request does not cancel or refund the order.
Instant mode
- The customer cancels an eligible order within the window.
- The order is cancelled and a refund is attempted if the gateway allows it.
If the refund does not complete automatically, you receive a notice to resolve it manually.
You stay in control
Set the window duration and choose instant, approval or off separately for cancellation, address changes and notes. Each customer action leaves a note on the order.

Does cancelling really refund the payment?
An automatic refund requires a refundable balance, WooCommerce allowing the attempt and the gateway confirming success. If it is unavailable or fails, cancellation completes and the store receives a notice to resolve the refund manually. In approval mode, submitting a request leaves the order unchanged until the store approves it.
Can customers add or remove products?
Not in Free. This edition covers cancellation, address changes, notes and personalization fields allowed by the store. It does not include product swaps, quantity changes or paid additional purchases after checkout.
Does it work with guest orders?
Yes, if the store enables guest access. The customer receives a signed link that expires when the editing window closes; no account is needed.
Will my shipping integration respect the window?
It depends on how it queries orders and on its status filters. The matrix distinguishes documented evidence from unverified integrations. Check your combination of versions and settings before relying on the window.
Is this the EU right of withdrawal?
No. It is a commercial cancellation window before fulfilment. It does not replace your store’s formal returns or withdrawal process.
Does it send data anywhere?
The plugin has no telemetry and makes no external requests of its own. Refunds are processed through the payment gateway already configured in WooCommerce.
HPOS and block checkout?
The plugin repository documents support for HPOS, classic order storage, and block and classic checkout. This page does not establish a new certification of versions.
